Youngstown police identify gunshot victim

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

Youngstown police say they are looking into an incident that left 41-year-old, Ian Berry, in the hospital with a gunshot wound. 

According to a police report, officers were called to St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Youngstown late Thursday evening for a gunshot victim. 

Officers say Berry was being "worked on" by emergency room doctors. 

The police report does not specify how the victim got to the hospital but lists the location of the shooting as Cordova Avenue. 

A report says the shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. Thursday. 

According to the report, the suspect is believed to be about 20-years-old, 6' tall, and may have been wearing white camouflage pants and a white hoodie at the time of the shooting. 

Police say that the victim is in stable condition.
