A Weathersfield Township man is being held in the Trumbull County Jail on drug, weapon, and probation violation charges after police say they found a marijuana growing operation in his home.
Police and a probation officer went to the Harmon Avenue Home of 50-year-old Daniel Babcock on Wednesday to arrest him for an alleged probation violation.
Officers say that during a search of the home they found two rooms filed with equipment used to grow marijuana. They also found $800 in cash and two handguns.
Just a week ago Babcock was in Niles Municipal Court where he pleaded no contest and was found guilty of to carrying a concealed weapon.
He was fined $200 and placed on probation until November.
